To leave the small town of Muang Ngoi, you can get lost in a small remote village called Ban Ma. The path is dusty and exposed to the sun, but it is very easy and well marked. It can also be done by tuk-tuk. 

For those who enjoy steep hikes, this is an excellent way to let off steam and enjoy a very nice view from the Pha Boom viewpoint.  It is impossible to get lost, as there is only one path, and handrails are provided to help you on both the ascent and descent.  It is even possible to sleep up there for the more adventurous. Small tents are available. Be careful not to linger after sunset, as the descent should not be attempted in the dark!

It is possible to access a waterfall from the town of Kampot. In the dry season, the waterfall may lack water, but the rest of the year it is very pretty and free to access, following this Visorando route with or without a tuk-tuk.Of course, you can choose to do just the outward journey, in either direction, or the return journey.

This circuit is just the start of a longer walk. The hike ends at this small waterfall, but the path continues much further. This is a perfect short hike to combine with a visit to the famous Wat Phrathat Doi Sutherland temple, which is right next door. The first third of the hike is on a road and isn't very interesting. However, the rest is a paradise for hikers, with a unique, wide trail through dense forest.

A fantastic loop in the middle of the jungle with a wide trail for 80% of the hike. The waterfall halfway through is worth the detour! The trail is generally quite wide and does not require any technical skills. Be careful of the intense heat of Southeast Asia.

Here is the hiking route from the centre of Valence towards the large granite rocks. The route is fairly easy, quite short and offers magnificent views. This climb does not require any special technical skills.

Welcome to Cape Town. There are two marked hikes in this city: Table Mountain and Lion's Head. The starting point for both hikes is the same. Table Mountain is much longer and steeper than Lion's Head.

This is the Cape Town hike. It's the biggest, longest and hardest, but perhaps the most rewarding. Bring patience and a weather radar, as clouds can quickly cover this beautiful plateau, especially in winter. The technical difficulty ranges from moderate to difficult. You will see some beautiful spots with breathtaking views of the city centre, the mountains and the ocean. With a bit of luck, you may even come across some wild goats.

Welcome to Drakensberg. You are about to immerse yourself in the South African mid-mountains at the gateway to Lesotho. The gorge waterfall is a perfect hike to start your getaway at a leisurely pace. If you feel like it, you can even take a dip in the icy water when you arrive.

This is a long and demanding route in the Drakensberg, requiring careful planning, to reach the famous Sentinel Mountain.
