Connection between Entraygues-sur-Truyère and Espeyrac via the historic Queen Margot trail. Breathtaking views of the Fel hills Regional Nature Reserve and the Lot valley, then the Dazes valley. Espeyrac is the last stop before Conques on the Way of St James via the GR®65 long-distance footpath.

Espeyrac is a stop on the Way of St James. A picturesque granite village with slate roofs, in unspoilt natural surroundings, surrounded by ancient chestnut groves. You will find refreshments, a grocery store, lodges and an inn.

Route linking Espeyrac on the GR®65 with the medieval town of Entraygues on the GR®465 via the Chemin de la Reine Margot. You’ll enjoy magnificent views over the Lot and Truyère valleys, as well as the Monts du Cantal and the Aubrac Plateau. Please note: unless you’re continuing on to Entraygues, this route will require you to leave one car here and another in Espeyrac for the return journey.

A walk through the Soulouze communal forest (sessile oaks, Corsican pines, chestnut trees, Atlas cedars, red oaks...) passing through the abandoned hamlet of Fonfrège. You’ll discover local architecture such as fish-scale slate roofs and dry-stone walls with their vine-covered stairways. A pleasant route along the left bank of the Lot with numerous views over the valley and the village of Entraygues-sur-Truyère.

A beautiful walk starting from Entraygues-sur-Truyère, where you’ll climb through a pine forest to reach Ginolhac, offering exceptional views of the Truyère and Lot gorges, as well as the Aubrac plateaus and the Cantal mountains.

A pleasant walk after the climb along the historic hillside paths, where you can enjoy the scent of pine resin in the forest. You’ll also be able to admire the chapels and the typical architecture of the half-timbered houses.

A magnificent walk to enjoy with the family near the village of Entraygues-sur-Truyère and just a stone’s throw from the Poterie du Don. You’ll enjoy panoramic views over the Lot and Truyère valleys. Can also be done by mountain bike or on horseback. The first half is shaded.

Starting from Entraygues, the Camin d’Olt is ideal for getting in shape before tackling the major GR® routes. It is also very popular with trail runners and other hiking enthusiasts. You’ll look out over the tamed Lot valley. Entraygues and its surrounding area form a crossroads of transport routes, linking the roads of Auvergne with the Lot valley. As you make your way along the steep, chestnut-lined slopes and the sun-drenched hillsides dotted with vineyards and pastures, you’ll discover a region of striking contrasts, home to numerous villages steeped in history.
