Park in the stadium car park at the starting point.
(S/E) Head west, with the castle at your back, and follow this path until you come to an intersection with the tennis courts on your right. Turn left and follow the road, which becomes a dirt track after a few metres.
(1) At the junction, a "Vitaboucle" sign indicates that you should turn right. Follow this sign. At the end of this track, turn left and about 100 m before you reach the D30, take the track on your right. After a short right/left, continue on the track parallel to the D30.
(2) When you reach the antenna, be careful as you will have to cross the M225 (D225 on the IGN map). Go straight across and around the few trees on the left. Once you are back on the roadside, turn left and follow the path indicated by the "Vitaboucle" signs through the vineyards. At the corner of a plot with a tree, fork right and join a cross path at the level of a small copse.
(3) Turn right, then straight on to the next junction, turn left and reach the tarmac.
(4) Cross the M718 carefully, making a slight right/left, then go straight on for a long time, following a left-hand path. At the crossroads, turn right/left and reach a new road.
(5) Cross the M118 carefully, making a right/left. Continue along this road until you reach the Muehlbach. Turn right along the Muehlbach to reach a crossroads.
(6) Turn right onto Rue des Prés. Turn left at the first junction and follow this road. At the junction with Rue des Forgerons, turn left onto Rue Principale, then right up the hill.
(7) Turn left into Rue des Seigneurs, then left again into Rue de la Fontaine.
(8) To shorten the journey, you can take the Impasse de la Fontaine directly to the Rue du Château, where you turn right and walk back to the car park.
Alternatively (choice of route), stay on this street, which becomes Rue de l'Église, then walk down to Rue du Château. Turn right, then walk in this direction until you reach the car park (S/E).
