Park in the town hall car park.
(S/E) Set off along Rue des Jardins, turn left onto the first path and take the steps on the right to climb up to the statue of the Virgin Mary.
(1) Carry on in a south-westerly direction and pass under a power line. Continue through the Bois du Heidenberg until you reach a junction.
(2) Turn right, then keep left at the next junction. Then turn north-west and carry on until you reach another change of direction at a cleared area.
(3) Turn left to head west and continue uphill through the forest until you reach a cross-path.
(4) Turn right (north) onto the track, which later curves sharply to the left, leading to the entrance to Bisten-en-Lorraine.
(5) Take the main road on the right until you reach Impasse de la Forêt.
(6) Turn left (north), continuing until you reach the entrance to the woods. After a slight climb, turn right and head east until you reach the area near the Étangs de la Vallée.
(7) Turn left, then head north-east along the path to join another cross-path.
(8) Turn left, then about a hundred metres further on, turn right (north, then north-east) towards the Grotte des Russes, which you’ll reach by taking the path on the left a little further on.
(9) Retrace your steps and continue straight on, leaving the woods until you reach Rue de la Chapelle.
(10) Turn right onto this street, pass the Notre-Dame de Bon Secours Chapel on your right and reach a Fork in the road after passing Rue des Vergers on your left.
(11) Turn left towards the cemetery and then the church. Walk round the church on the left-hand side.
(12) Follow Rue de l’Église to the right until you reach a path branching off to the right.
(13) Turn onto this path, cross Rue de Bisten and continue straight ahead to reach Rue des Jardins, which leads directly to the town hall car park (S/E).
