Park in the large car park running alongside Clères Zoo.
(S/E) Head towards Montville along Avenue du Parc, skirting the zoo. Continue until you’ve passed the Ferme des Prés on your left. You’ll reach the Y-junction on Route des Marettes.
(1) Turn right here, cross the railway line and, after a few bends, you’ll reach the junction with the Chemin des Chasse-Marée.
(2) Pass through the hamlet of Bois-Hébert until you reach the next junction.
(3) Turn right, then right again at the junction (elevation 172) and carry on to the hamlet of Bosc la Mer.
(4) Continue north and, at the three-way junction in the road as you leave the hamlet, stay on the road to the right towards Bocasse. Reach the junction with the D6 road.
(5) Cross it carefully, keeping the leisure park on your left, and head towards the centre of the village of Bocasse. You will reach the complex comprising the town hall, the school and the church.
(6) Cross the D53 and carry on straight ahead; the road runs through woodland.
(7) Carry on to the right along the Fond des Bois. Further on, you’ll cross the old railway line.
(8) A little further on, pass under the railway line. Carry on and rejoin the road after the allotments and the cemetery.
(9) Head downhill to the left and go under the railway bridge to enter Clères. Turn right, walk past the schools, then head downhill to the left along Rue de l’Église. In front of the market halls, turn right to return to the starting car park (S/E).
A pleasant route, apart from the first kilometre along a busy road with no hard shoulder.
