Car park near the Salle Arnaud Girard and the sports centre in the town centre opposite the bakery.
(S/E) Exit the car park and turn left, passing in front of the garage, then turn left into Rue de la Scierie. Observe the remains of the sawmill mechanisms.
(1) Turn left onto Rue du Mont Gremont. In the bend, you will see the Château de Mont Grémont, which was the home of Édouard Delamare Deboutteville (there is an explanatory monument at the roundabout on the Route de Bosc-le-Hard in Fontaine).
(2) Turn right onto the road that winds through the woods and continue to the end.
(3) Continue straight ahead on the path across the plain and join a road at a place called Le Varat.
(4) Turn right and walk along the wall of Château du Varat, which is visible from the path. Continue along the road and climb up to the water tower at Saint-Georges-sur-Fontaine.
(5) Take the path on the right at the foot of the water tower (GR® 25). This is one of the Chasse-Marée paths that runs alongside fields.
(6) Return to the tarmac road, pass the old stadium and take the small path slightly to the right to descend towards the Saint-Georges road at the end of the bends.
(7) Go down the Saint-Georges road, then turn right to reach Rue de la Scierie.
(1) Turn left onto this street. At the end of the street, turn right to reach the car park near the Salle Arnaud Girard (S/E).
