Tour of the Ludres plateau via the cliffs and the Cité d'Affrique

The starting point is in the car park of the Parc de Loisirs du Plateau, on the heights of Ludres.

(S/E) Take the Chemin du Bois des Vaches, heading west. Ignore a path on the left.

(1) At the fork, turn right onto Chemin de Fraise. After about 100 metres, follow the main path to the left, heading south-west.

(2) At the crossroads with a ruined hut called "Chez Patrick et Nini", turn right. After 300 m, follow a small path on the left.

(3) Cross a path and take the trail opposite. After 50 metres, turn left, follow the main path straight ahead, then turn left at a sharp bend.

(4) At the next intersection, take the path on the right that runs along the cliffs. Be careful where the path is close to the cliff edge.

(5) Turn left at the intersection, then left again to rejoin the main path.

(6) Information sign about the remains of the Cité d'Affrique. Turn right onto the road that runs along the ramparts. After about 100 metres, continue on the road on the right, which also runs along the ramparts

(7) At the end of the path, turn left (there is a second information sign on the right). Stay on this path.

(8) At the barrier, turn left. Then follow a path on the right.

(9) After just a hundred metres, turn left to discover the "Secrets de la Castine" viewpoint. Retrace your steps.

(9) Continue to the left. Cross a path.

(10) Take the small path on the right (eastbound) to return to the car park (S/E).
