Park in the car park at Place Louis Imbach.
(S/E) From Place Imbach, head towards Sainte Victoire Church and Rue Pocquet de Livonnières. Follow Rue du Pocquet to reach the tram lines. Cross the tram tracks carefully.
(1) In front of Place Mendès France, turn left towards the Jardin des Plantes. Cross Boulevard Carnot very carefully and enter the garden through the main entrance.
Stroll through this beautiful park and return to the same entrance.
Retrace your steps to Place Mendès France.
(1) Continue straight ahead towards Boulevard du Maréchal Joffre. Cross the boulevard, then the car park and Rue du 11 Novembre 1918 to enter the Jardin du Mail and exit between Avenue du 8 Mai 1945 and Rue du Quinconce.
(2) Cross and walk along Place de Lorraine. At the end, on Rue Ménage, turn right. Follow Boulevard du Maréchal Foch, then cross it to take Rue Saint-Julien a little further on. Turn left into Rue Franklin Roosevelt. At the end, turn right, then left into Rue Voltaire. Cross Rue Saint-Aubain and walk to Rue du Musée.
(3) Follow Rue du Musée, continue along Rue Rangeard, then turn left onto Rue Saint-Évroult and right onto Rue Duvêtre, then left onto Rue du Voilier to reach Promenade du Bout du Monde. Walk to the end for a view.
(4) Superb view of the Maine River. From there, retrace your steps and turn left onto Rue Donadieu de Puycharic. Cross Montée Saint Maurice and descend towards Pont de Verdun. Cross the bridge and continue through the Doutre district via Rue Beaurepaire to Place de la Laiterie.
(5) Turn right onto Rue de la Censerie, then Rue Gay-Lussac. Continue to Boulevard Arago and the Tour des Anglais.
(6) From the Tour des Anglais, head towards the bridge and turn right before the bridge to follow Quai Monge to Pont des Arts et Métiers and cross it.
(7) Turn left and walk along Rue Boisnet. At the tram stop, walk up Rue de Roë. Turn left onto Rue Bodinier, then continue along Rue des Poëliers and Rue Saint-Étienne. Finish at the car park on Place Louis Imbach (S/E).
