Car park near the town hall.
(S/E) Head north-east along the Grande Rue and walk for about a hundred metres.
(1) Turn left and stay on Rue du Haut du Village, signposted with a Blue Triangle.
(2) After about 450 m, turn left up the Chemin de la Cornée. Pass a water intake; 500 m further on, ignore a path on the left and keep to the right, following the same markings into the Bois du Château. Go round the castle ruins and you’ll reach a forest track.
(3) Turn right, continuing to follow the Blue Triangle markings until you reach a hairpin bend 430 m further on. Stay on the same route, which turns right, and proceed to a Fork in the road.
(4) Ignore the Blue Triangle-marked path heading left and turn right to stay on the same forest track, the Chemin de la Cude, now marked with a Green Triangle. Continue to the D127.
(5) Turn right onto this road (a gentle climb with very little traffic). Carry on straight ahead, heading south.
(6) At the junction, keep right and head towards the hamlet of La Terre Rouge.
(7) At the junction, the road is signposted with a Blue Triangle. Turn right, then follow the bend to the left and stay on this road (Route de Champagney) to return to the junction you passed at the start of the walk.
(1) Carry on straight ahead to return to the car park (S/E).
