Description of the walk

Park in the town hall car park.

(S/E) With your back to the town hall, take the road on the right until you reach a calvary.

(1) Take the path on the right and pass under the power lines:along this route, there are beautiful views of the Monts du Cantal. Arrive at the access path to Puech Haut.

(2) Leave it on your right and continue straight ahead until you reach the D18.

(3) Cross it carefully and take the Sentier Tour du Lac path on the right, on the other side of the road.

(4) Descend into the woods towards the lake until you reach the playground below the swimming pool.

(5) Continue along the path that goes around the Cité de Pradel and arrive at the Saint-Étienne-Cantalès dam.

(6) Do not cross it, but take the path along Rue Aster and come out onto the D18, which you follow to the right until you reach a car park next to a barn.

(7) Cross the departmental road with caution and take the road opposite, which leads back to the town hall car park, passing by the church (S/E).
