Start from the track behind Port de la Rague, below the D6098.
(S/E) Take the track westwards to a boat repair building.
At the end of this hangar, there is a no-entry sign for all vehicles (White Circle with a red border), behind which a carved-out path climbs north-east. Follow this path for a few dozen metres. You’ll come to another path on a ledge; turn left towards the west.
Follow this path and climb up to the ridge of Mont Turney towards an altitude of 94 m via a few hairpin bends.
On the ridge, the view opens up clearly towards the Lérins Islands and the Cannes hinterland.
Continue left towards the south-west along this ridge until you reach a clear junction marked by two cairns.
(1) At this junction, head down to the right towards the north-east. You’ll be overlooking a valley and passing through a surprising eucalyptus forest, then a pine forest.
At a pretty, slender cairn, head down to the left towards a stream, then climb back up to reach the D2098bis.
(2) Cross the road and take the path that climbs up opposite, heading north. Follow this track to a small road at the entrance to the San Peyre Departmental Park.
(3) Make a round trip to the San Peyre orientation table: continue left along the road, then take the steps on the left which lead easily to an orientation table (above a ruined chapel) offering a magnificent 360° panorama of the Bay of Cannes, the Lérins Islands, Théoule, the Estérel, the Cannes hinterland, the Mercantour...
Return to the junction via the same route.
(3) Follow the path on the right which goes round San Peyre to the north
(4) When you reach the road, turn left, then head down to the right via the Montée des Cigales steps. Head down towards La Napoule on the right, turn left at the post office, then cross the car park to the left to pass under the station and arrive at the entrance to the Château de la Napoule.
Go round the château on the left and follow the façade to reach the beach and the coastal path.
(5) Take the coastal path towards Plage de la Raguette, Plage de la Rague and Port de la Rague.
A magnificent spot with small beaches and crystal-clear waters!
Pass Plage de la Raguette, then head up towards the Rocher des Pendus before descending towards Plage de la Rague.
Cross the beach heading south to reach Port de la Rague.
(6) Walk along the harbour towards the west, go under the road to return to the starting point (S/E).
