Park in the car park at Château du Guildo.
(S/E) Head down towards the port and cross the bridge. On the other side, there are steps that allow you to pass under the bridge safely. To the left of the restaurant, take Rue de La Petite Suisse and continue until you reach a crossroads before Les Vallées.
(1) Turn left onto theGRP® du Tour du Penthièvre au Poudouvre trail, marked in red and yellow, towards Les Vallées and discover the Moulin à Marée (tidal mill) in this arm of the Guébriand, a bird paradise.
Continue along this path, following the left bank of the Arguenon. You will then come to a series of viewpoints over the Arguenon estuary and discover the Saint-Pierre chapel. Be careful of the tide if it is very high. The path then leaves the riverbank and heads towards the village of St-Pierre.
(2) At the Saint-Pierre chapel, turn left onto a pleasant path under the trees that runs alongside the village. Walk alongside a campsite and, just after it, turn right to join the D19.
(3) Turn left along the departmental road until you reach the bridge.
(4) Do not take it, but continue to the right to discover the parish enclosure of the old village.
(5) Return to the bridge.
(4) Turn right to cross the Arguenon and follow the signs for Saint-Jacut on the right. The path runs alongside the Arguenon, crosses the Montafilan bridge and joins a small wood.
(6) Continue left along Bourg de Créhen. This is the old tram line that crosses Ménardais and then Ville Tideu. Shortly afterwards, you will come to a crossroads with a track near a large farm.
(7) Turn right to quickly reach a covered alley.
(8) Return to the previous crossroads.
(7) Take the old tram line on the right again. Cross the D786 and take the road opposite, pass the Grand Pré and continue north to return to the car park (S/E) at the Château du Guildo, a natural and historical site worth exploring.
Superb! An easy path on the right bank of the Arguenon; the difficulty lies on the left bank in the "submersible" section. You walk at silt level, sometimes submerged despite the tall grass on which you can lean;
