Sonning Common to Pangbourne, around Reading

This walk passes through some of the beautiful beech woods of the Chiltern Hills. This area of outstanding natural beauty is within easy reach of London, and an ideal location for a day out away from the stresses of everyday life. The footpaths in this area are well looked after by the Chiltern Society, and discreet arrows on the trees depict the rights of way.
Henley-on-Thames to Marlow along the Thames Path
A pleasant linear walk along the Thames Path between Henley-on-Thames and Marlow. The path is easy to follow and is almost all downhill. There are a number of public transport options to return to the start.
Henley to Reading
This is the tenth stage of the multi-day route "Railways and Waterways, between Oxford and London".
Riverside parkland, a diversion through Chiltern bluebell woods, water meadows, attractive and hospitable Sonning village, a wildlife park and wildflower meadows, the ruins of Reading Abbey and the Forbury Gardens are highlights of this walk.
Watlington to Streatley, The Ridgeway the Other Way
The Ridgeway the other way. The National Trail from NE to SW. This Stage 3 has a bit of everything. The route runs long the Upper Icknield Way on the way to the small hamlet of Swyncombe. Then crosses the Chiltern Way on it's way to the village of Nuffield. The route then runs on a narrow secluded path alongside the ancient Grim’s Ditch before reaching the River Thames. On the opposite bank, another National Trail runs, The Thames Path
Shiplake and Binfield Heath Circular
A varied walk on mostly good paths. No stiles and moderate slopes.
From Shiplake Station to Wargrave Station
A walk from station to station using the Thames Path.
Wargrave to Twyford railway stations
Enjoy a mostly level walk with no stiles between Wargrave to Twyford railway stations. A shorter version is available to avoid some muddy paths in the Stanlake area but there is no footway across the railway bridge and care needs to be taken.
Goring to Shillingford
This is the twelfth stage of the multi-day route "Railways and Waterways, between Oxford and London".
From the picturesque twin villages of Goring and Streatley, this walk passes through water meadows to a riverside pub and on to the historic market town of Wallingford, past the ruins of the royal castle and across Benson weir with its new salmon run.
