Yellow-Blue 24 markings
(S/E) From the southern end of the car park, take the access road heading south-west to reach the first signpost (on the right).
(1) After about 300m, leave the road and take the grassy path on the right. Cross the small metal footbridge. The path descends increasingly steeply north-westwards through meadows and copses towards the forest.
(2) At the T-junction at the end of the meadow, turn right. Continue along the path, which passes through several clearings in the forest: ski runs or ski-lift routes.
After the ski lift line, the forest becomes denser and the ground is very muddy!
(3) At the base of the Paradis chairlift, turn left onto the path, then immediately right onto the small road for about a hundred metres.
(4) Next, don’t miss the path that climbs up to the left near the chairlift. Cross the metal footbridges and begin the ascent. Stay on the main path at all times (trail number 6 “Cordillère”, blue sign). The trail skirts Le Morond to the west and emerges at the hairpin bend of a small road.
(5) Take this road to the right up to the summit of Le Morond. Enjoy the panoramic view and the orientation table.
(6) After the wooden railings at the viewpoint, take the very steep descent heading south-east towards the small lake. Walk along the right-hand side of the small lake.
(7) At the end of the lake, almost in line with it, head back up, following the yellow-blue and red-white markings. Follow this south-facing path back to the car park where you started (S/E).
