On the Indre hillside from Perrusson

Departure: Perrusson Town Hall, Place du 8 mai 1945

(S/E) From the town hall, go down Rue de l'Indre, to the left of the town hall. As you leave the village, take the footbridge on the left that runs alongside the road. After crossing the Indre, turn left onto the road and continue until you reach the plain.

(1) In the middle of the fields, turn left onto the path. After crossing a footbridge, continue along the road. At the crossroads, continue straight ahead, then turn right onto a section of dirt track. At the end, turn left into Rue de la Croix Gaillard to enter Beaulieu-lès-Loches.

(2) Continue straight ahead and, after passing the greenhouses, turn right onto the road. Go up the road and turn left onto the path lined with chestnut trees towards Le Pressoir. In front of the gate, continue on the left and, at the crossroads, turn right onto the path along the park. At the next crossroads, turn right onto the path to continue along the castle walls and the road.

(3) At the intersection with the road, turn left then right to continue along a path through the fields. Arrive at La Chesnaie.

(4) When you reach the hamlet, turn onto the small road on the left between the houses. Continue straight ahead on the path until you reach the Maison Rouge.

(5) Back on the road, turn right onto the path after the house. Continue straight ahead until you reach the intersection with the road.

(6) There, turn left and then head back through the fields via the first path on the right. This path then branches off to the right. At the intersection with another path, continue on the left and stay on this path, which continues along a small road, until you reach a crossroads.

(7) Turn left onto the road and then immediately right onto the path along the woods. You will arrive at a crossroads in the middle of the fields.

(8) Continue along the path in front of you. After walking alongside the woods, turn left onto a path towards Les Hautes Maisons.

(9) Continue on the right, then turn left into the alleyway. At the intersection, turn left onto the road, then right onto a small road. Continue along the path, which then branches off to the right.

(10) At the end of the path, turn left onto the road, then right towards La Guiffaudière. Continue along the path to the left of the last house. At the intersection, cross the road and continue along the path opposite to the right. Go straight ahead and then cross the bridge over the Indre river to head towards the village of Saint-Jean.

(11) Cross the river and turn right onto Rue des Jardins. Follow the road, cross the railway line and continue along it. At the intersection, continue straight ahead on the path opposite the road to continue along the railway line. You will come to another intersection.

(12) Cross the railway line again and continue along the tracks. Continue straight on until you reach Perrusson. When you arrive behind the church, turn left to return to your car park (S/E).

Starting from Perrusson, you can also enjoy another loop (12.4 km - yellow markings). You will also cross the Beaulieu-lès-Loches loop (11.2 km - red markings) and the Saint-Jean-Saint-Germain loop (10.8 km - yellow markings).
