Start from the car park at Valdrôme resort.
(S/E) At the car park entrance, follow the yellow trail markers for trail 65 towards Duffre Raide until you reach the sheepfold at 1,510 m (Cabanon des Cimes).
(1) Take the track on the right that enters the woods. At the end of the woods, leave the track and follow the fairly well-marked yellow trail heading west. This descends a little to the Cabane du Pré Pourri at 1,409m.
(2) Climb towards the ridges and, at the pass, take the path on the left that climbs through the rocks, following the markings carefully, and climb to the summit of Duffre (1,757 m).
(3) Descend the steep slope via the poorly marked trail on the left just after the summit. Climb back up opposite the Pyramide under the ski lifts.
Follow the ridges to Pas de la Lauze, 1553m, then continue along the ridges to the summit of Montagne de l'Aup, 1626m.
(4) Then descend to the left to reach the fir trees (pay attention to the markings), arrive at the Aup Froid junction at 1,450m, take the path on the left that leads to the Valdrôme resort. Cross the resort and return to the car park (S/E).
. In the end, it was 750 metres of elevation gain instead of 600, following the exact route described by Viso Rando. i recommend wearing trousers instead of shorts, as there are lots of sections with tall grass at the start.
