The starting point is at the war memorial, opposite the town hall. Parking spaces are available at this location.
(S/E) Take the road to the left of the town hall going uphill (Rue Maxime Sarlat).
(1) Enter the forest and continue straight ahead (DFCI track) until you reach the pond. Turn right onto the path, pass under a power line and take a right-hand bend followed by a left-hand bend to come out onto a track suitable for vehicles. Turn right and rejoin the road.
(2) Turn left and continue for about 200 metres. At the bend, take the path on the right. At the edge of the forest, turn right: be careful, the sign is hidden in the foliage.
(3) At a place called Lauthier, turn left to re-enter the forest. Ignore the access to the property on the right and continue straight ahead to the picnic area.
(4) Turn right shortly afterwards and join the D4.
(5) Turn right for about 150 metres, then left towards Peyrelevade (D.F.C.I Villa 6).
(6) Leave the track and take the path on the right, which bends to the right further on. At the three-way junction, keep to the right, ignoring the access road to Martillac, and continue straight on to Le Puy. Pass the buildings and you will come to a four-way junction.
(7) Continue straight ahead, turn right before Les Cabanes, then pass in front of the pond to reach the D4.
(8) Turn left after the fire hydrant. At the roundabout after the church, go straight ahead onto Rue Gabriel Reymond.
(9) Before reaching the castle, go up the stairs on the right, then turn right again onto Avenue Édouard Dupuy to reach the war memorial (S/E).
