Park in the car park alongside the D138 (800m past the dam).
(S/E) Facing the lake, turn right onto a grassy path between the car park and the lake. The path follows the lake’s shoreline. Pass under the Ginestarié, continue straight on to the D13 at the far end of the lake
(1) Turn left onto the tarmac road. Cross the road bridge over the Lézert and continue for 200m.
(2) Leave the tarmac road and take the signposted path on the left, which descends alongside the lake.
(3) At the first three-way junction, continue straight ahead along the lakeside. At the first three-way junction, go down to the left. At the top of the hill, go down to the left. At the next three-way junction, turn left.
(4) Cross the road and head up the slope opposite.
(5) 10m past the water’s edge, leave the track to cross the footbridge. Head straight up then turn left to follow the upper edge of the meadow. The path leads onto an old road.
(6) Cross the tarmac road and go over a small bridge over a ditch. The path through the woodland leads to the dam. Cross the dam.
(7) Take the first track on the left. At the three-way junction, turn left. Return to the starting point (S/E).
