Defoy educational trail

Coming from Paliseul on the N899, at the crossroads in the hamlet of Saint-Éloi, turn right towards Carlsbourg. Car park 500 m on the right.

(S/E) With your back to the road, take the forest path on your left, behind the information board and not far from the picnic table. Follow the path, passing over footbridges, until you reach a wide forest path.

(1) Continue straight ahead. The path then turns sharply to the right. Further on, look for the path leading off to the left.

(2) Head towards number 6, then continue towards the Defoy spring. Continue until you reach the wide forest path.

(3) Continue to the right for a few dozen metres.

(4) Turn left at the first path and you will see the pond, which you will go around on the left. Follow the path, which is sometimes marked with signposts, and return to the car park (S/E).
