Departure from the car park at Port Manec'h harbour.
GR®34 markings (white and red)
(S/E) Head to the back of the car park and take the stairs to reach the coastal path (GR®34). Follow it, pass the lighthouse and reach the "Doigt de Dieu" rock.
(1) Continue on theGR®34, pass the "Roche Madame" and "An Goërled" rocks where cormorants like to dry their wings, and reach Anse de Rospico.
(2) Pass the Rospico car park and take a fairly steep path on the left. Continue on theGR®34, ignore the first path on the right and look for a second path, also on the right, a few dozen metres further on.
PR® (yellow) markings
(3) Follow it and turn left to reach the village of Kerascoët.
(4) Turn right and cross the village until you reach an intersection. Turn left, then right, pass a campsite, continue on the path that veers left and continues along the Kerascoët road. Follow it to the next crossroads.
(5) Take the small road on the right and continue along a path that gradually descends towards a fountain and a stream. Cross it via a footbridge, go up the path that turns left then right at a riding centre. Pass the riding centre and ignore a path on the right to leave the PR®.
No markings
Continue to an intersection with a road.
(6) Follow it to the left and turn right at the village of Kernem. Follow this road until it intersects with the Port Manec'h road (D77). Cross it carefully, take the road opposite and pass the Kervren nursery. Note the beautiful group of old houses on the left.
PR® (Yellow) markings
(7) Continue along this small road until you reach a car park just before Château de Poulguin. Note the fountain on the left.
GR®34 markings (white and red)
(8) Turn right onto the path that joins theGR®34on the banks of the Aven. Feel free to go down to the beach for a lovely view of Château de Poulguin. Continue on theGR®34, go around Anse de Poul Don and you will reach a small landing stage.
(9) Follow the small road to the right, turn left at the next intersection, continue straight ahead and reach Port Manec'h Beach. Note the imposing Manoir Dalmore on your right.
(10) Walk along the beach and turn left onto a path that joins Rue de l'Aven. Follow it to the left to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
