Start at the car park at Port Manec’h harbour.
GR®34 signposting (white and red)
(S/E) Head towards the far end of the car park and take the steps to join the coastal path (GR®34). Follow it, past the lighthouse, until you reach the ‘Doigt de Dieu’ rock.
(1) Continue along the GR®34, past the ‘Roche Madame’ and ‘An Goërled’ rocks – where cormorants like to dry their wings – until you reach Rospico Cove.
(2) Walk past the Rospico car park and turn left onto a fairly steep path. Continue along the GR®34, ignore the first path on the right and look out for a second path, also on the right, a few dozen metres further on.

(3) Follow it and turn left to reach the village of Kerascoët.
(4) Turn right and walk through the village until you reach a junction. Turn left, then right; walk past a campsite and continue along the path which veers to the left and joins the Kerascoët road. Follow this road to the next crossroads.
(5) Take the small road on the right and continue along a path that gradually descends towards a fountain and a stream. Cross the stream via a footbridge, then follow the path uphill; it turns left and then right at a riding centre. Pass the riding centre and ignore a path branching off to the right to leave the PR®.
Unmarked
Carry on until you reach a junction with a road.
(6) Follow it to the left and turn right at the village of Kernem. Follow this road until it meets the Route de Port Manec’h (D77). Cross it carefully, take the road opposite and pass the Kervren nursery. Note a lovely cluster of old houses on the left.

(8) Turn right onto the path which joins the GR®34 on the banks of the Aven. Don’t hesitate to head down to the beach for a lovely view of Poulguin Castle. Continue along the GR®34, go round Anse de Poul Don and reach a small landing stage.
(9) Follow the small road to the right, turn left at the next junction, carry on straight ahead and you’ll reach Port Manec’h Beach. Look out for the imposing Manoir Dalmore on your right.
(10) Walk along the beach and turn left onto a path which joins Rue de l’Aven. Follow it to the left to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
