Access : From the D768 road, take the forest road to the the car park. At the first intersection, continue straight ahead to reach the parking lot.
(S/E) From the parking lot, go straight ahead to reach the coast. Turn left and follow the beach for 1 km, then walk up the dune on the path just before post 7.
(1) Go back up the dune and follow the path around the blockhouses to the right.
(2) Continue in a north-northeasterly direction (Be careful, there are many trails starting off in the dune).
Follow alongside the undergrowth without entering it. The field is a little swampy along the undergrowth.
(3) Join the road and turn right, then cross over and take the path opposite (cycle track). Pass in front of the museum: Musée de la Chouannerie. Turn right and at the end of the square turn left (GR®34).
(4) Take the GR®34 to the left and follow it to Sainte-Barbe (just before, see the fountains and wash-houses site).
(5) At the fountains, turn right to see the washhouse (50m away), then come back and turn right onto the path until you reach the village of Sainte-Barbe. Take the street opposite "Rue du Ouahre", pass the church and take the street "Rue de Kerentrech".
(6) Go back up and walk about 200m on the road out of the village to see the menhirs in the field on the right. Return to the crossroads and turn right (towards the beach). Cross the crossroads and when the road turns right, take the path opposite.
(7) Follow the track and continue straight ahead until you reach a T-shaped path (housing estate opposite). Turn left and walk alongside the buildings. At the next crossroads, go straight ahead until you reach the dune.
(8) When you reach the municipal campsite, turn left and follow the tracks on the dune.
(9) Turn right over the dune to reach the beach. At the beach, turn left and walk along the coast to reach our beach access point. At this point, climb back up the dune to find the car park. (S/E)
