The start of the Erdeven circular walk is at the car park on Place Avel Vor in Kerhillio, on Boulevard de l’Atlantique. This car park is accessible to cars under 1.9 m in height and to bicycles. In this car park, look for the walk’s starting point marker with the QR code giving access to the interactive map.
(S/E) From the car park, cross Boulevard de l’Atlantique at the pedestrian crossing to reach the small path towards Kergouët and continue straight on.
(1) At the ‘Stop’ sign, turn right towards the Étang de Kergroz, which is home to many birds.
(2) Turn left to continue through the hamlet, then turn right onto the farm track where the swallow sign indicates you should turn. Continue along this track until you reach the next hamlet: Loperhet. Walk through the hamlet until you see the Sainte-Brigitte Chapel on your right.
(3) A wash house and a fountain can also be seen to the left of the chapel. Then return to the crossroads and carry on straight ahead.
(4) Take Rue du Tilleul on the left at the junction and follow it until you reach the edge of the hamlet.
(5) Turn left onto the farm track until you reach a road. Follow it to the left for 50 metres, then turn onto the small path on the right. Follow this until you reach another path.
(6) Continue along the track to the right. At the next junction, turn left onto Rue des Asphodèles, then right onto Rue des Coprins.
(7) At the Stop sign, turn left onto Chemin des Saules.
(8) At the next Stop sign, walk 50 metres to the right and back to see the Moulin de Narbon. Then return and turn right onto Route de la Plage to reach the path that runs alongside the Ruisseau de Poulbé, crossing via a footbridge.
(9) Turn left, cross the stream to reach the hamlet of Lisveur. In the hamlet, turn right, then right again to rejoin a dirt track. Follow it, crossing the Ruisseau de Poulbé once more.
(10) Leave the track and take the path under the trees running alongside the stream. Continue along the Chemin des Oyats until you reach a Stop sign at Kerouriec. Turn right onto the road, then left onto the Chemin de la Caserne. Continue until you reach a footbridge.
(11) Once on the dune, continue along the road to the left towards La Main Verte. Then take the road on the right towards La Roche Cèche. After the gantry, follow the path marked by wires towards Kerouriec Beach. At the beach, continue with the sea on your right. On the left, in spring and summer, you may spot sand martins nesting in the crevices in the sand.
(12) At the rocky headland of Porh Lineneu, climb back up the dune via the path and continue to the right, skirting the ocean.
(13) Join the road and follow it. At the next junction, take the path that leads back up onto the dune, between the two tarmac roads. Carry straight on along this sandy track until you reach another tarmac road. Turn right onto this road, then take the greenway a little further on to the left.
(14) Continue along this cycle path, passing a playground on your left. Then turn left onto the tarmac road to reach the car park where you started, a little further on to the right (S/E).
