Ruins of the village of Jean Migault

A very pleasant walk in the woods starting from the Lac du Lambon car park. The circuit runs alongside the Lambon before leading to an old mill where there is a stone bridge to cross the river. The climb then continues along the ruins of the old village of Jean Migault, leading to the path taken on the way there, which you follow to return to the car park.

Description of the walk

Park in the car park at the Lambon leisure centre (plenty of spaces).

(S/E) Head towards Pied l'Ouaille and turn left as you leave the village.

(1) Continue on the left, then take the small country lane on the left. Cross the bridge over the Lambon and continue for a few dozen metres.

(2) Turn right onto the Aigrion path and continue straight ahead for about 1 km, following the Lambon river. You will reach a crossroads.

(3) Turn right, cross the stone bridge over the river. Then pass the ruins of the old village of Jean Migault and climb up to Monteuil, keeping to the right at the intersection.

(4) Continue straight ahead to return to the crossroads you passed on the way there.

(1) Keep on the same path, turning right to return to Pied l'Ouaille and the car park (S/E).
