Lac de Pormenaz from Lac Vert and via Souay
A superb walk facing the long barrier of the Rochers des Fiz (or Chaîne des Fiz – Massif de Platé, Haut Giffre), in an exceptional setting with a section of the route running alongside the Souay torrent. When the sun is shining, the reflections of Lake Pormenaz are truly beautiful.

An extraordinary hike that almost forms a loop, starting from the Châtelet car park; a complete change of scenery guaranteed in an exceptional environment (Passy and Sixt nature reserves; Platé desert). You will need two vehicles.

If you spend a night at the Moëde Anterne refuge, you can make a round trip to Lake Anterne, taking a different route on the descent from the refuge.Beautiful view of Mont Blanc. Three lakes on the programme: Lac de Pormenaz on the first day, then a night at the refuge, Lac d'Anterne the next day, which reflects the rocky ridge of Les Fiz, and Lac Vert near Plaine Joux, to be saved for the return trip.
