The walk starts on Rue du Mené in Quimiac. Park on the street, near number 311 (metric numbering).
(S/E) Walk up Rue du Mené in the opposite direction to the traffic (towards the east). When you reach the intersection, take Rue des Goffedins opposite. This road turns right at a right angle and then, about 200 metres further on, becomes a path. Turn left at the intersection and follow the path to the tarmac road, which you will take to the left for about 100 metres.
(1) Just before the bridge, take the path on the right that leads into the marsh. The path first runs alongside the etier (etier = a narrow channel that can be several kilometres long and contains water from the sea) and then moves away from it towards the edge of the marsh. Continue along the path, generally heading south.
(2) When you reach the intersection with the D52, turn left onto it and then, 50 metres further on, take the path on the right, just after the bridge. The path continues along the edge of the marsh, heading south-west. When you reach another road, cross it and take the path opposite. After a few dozen metres, this turns into a trail.
Continue until you leave the marsh. The trail becomes less obvious. Go straight ahead towards the hangars, which you will pass on your right, to come out onto a small road (Route de Keraleman), which you will take to the right until you reach the junction about 200 metres away.
(3) Take the road on the left (Route de Kerjolland). Follow it to the end and turn right onto Route du Pabie (RD52). Take the first road on the left after about 150 metres (Chemin de l'Île aux Renais) and follow it to the end. When you reach Route de Kervarec, turn left.
(4) After about 50 metres, take the road on the right that enters the Domaine de Villeneuve. Follow the road as it curves to the right until you reach a roundabout. Head left towards the sea until you reach the coastal path.
(5) Turn right, passing the customs officer's hut and the Table du Diable (a flat rock that is almost an island, where you can swim even at low tide). Continuing along the path, you will arrive at Pointe de la Croix and then Lanséria Beach. Cross the beach to Pointe de Beaulieu at its northern end.
(6) Cross Plage du Moulin. Leave the beach via the steps at the end and take the path on the left towards Pointe du Toul-Ru. You can go to the platform in front of the sailing school to enjoy the 270° panorama.
(7) Then go down to Plage du Toul-Ru via the steps behind the sailing school (to the east). Take the steps located roughly in the middle of the beach and follow the path to the end, which leads to Rue du Mené, near your car (S/E).
