Description of the walk

Return to the starting point along the RD110 in the commune of Rancogne - Moulins-sur-Tardoire. Park at the side of the road, on a forest track.

(S/E) Head south-west along the edge of the forest and you’ll reach a fork at elevation 113.

(1) Continue straight ahead, take the dirt track on your left and keep going straight.

(2) At elevation 112, cross a limestone track, go straight on, then keep left. Continue south-east until you reach a dirt track.

(3) Turn left and continue straight on until you reach the edge of the forest, before the hamlet of La Forêt.

(4) Turn left onto a dirt track which allows you to avoid crossing the hamlet, join a track at elevation 116 and continue straight on until you reach another track.

(5) Turn right onto the limestone track up to the 118-metre mark, where you’ll join the GR®4. Follow it by turning left heading due north, then turn left with it.

(6) Leave the GR®4, which heads off to the right, and continue straight on along the forest track until you reach a junction at elevation 129.
