The Raboliots circuit in Saint-Germain-de-Montbron

This circuit will take you through the Charente countryside, following in the footsteps of the "raboliots" (wild rabbits) that were once hunted by poachers. You will alternate between passages in the undergrowth and paths running alongside cultivated plots and meadows.

Worth a visit

To the south of the village is the Flow Vélo, a greenway that follows the old railway line that linked Thiviers in the Dordogne to Le Quéroy-Pranzac in the Charente. This cycle route connects the town of Sarlat-la-Canéda in the Dordogne to the Île d'Aix in Charente-Maritime.

To the north of the commune, the small village of Vouthon is home to a splendid Templar church and the remains of an old departmental railway line.
