The route starts on the D623 on the outskirts of Lauraguel, heading towards Castelnaudary. You will see a sign for “Les Teillettes”. Park along the Chemin de l’Estragnol, which runs alongside a concrete products supplier.
(S/E) Cross the D623, walk back a few metres towards Lauraguel and turn right onto Allée du Perdinet, which continues as Chemin du Cassanel. Continue to the second junction on the left, at the Les Teillettes housing estate (return route).
(1) Follow Chemin du Cassanel straight ahead; the road climbs slightly and gives way to a path through the vineyards.
(2) At the Bordenave farm, turn left. The path descends for about 200m.
(3) At the junction, turn right until the next one, about 600m away.
(4) Turn left and, almost at the Albane stream, turn right onto a passable grassy path. Continue along this path, cross the stream and join the D702.
(5) Turn right, towards the village of Routier.
(6) At the junction just before the village entrance, continue straight on along the road.
(4) Follow the path you took on the way there in the opposite direction.
(3) At the junction, leave the path you took on the way there on your left and continue straight ahead along the Chemin des Prades. The tarmac road runs alongside the Albane stream.
(7) At Lauraguel Primary School, turn left to join the Chemin du Cassanel.
(1) Turn right and join the Chemin de l'Estragnol (S/E).
