You will depart from Saint-Martin-du-Tertre’s Mairie, on the Rue de la Place.
(S/E) With your back to the Mairie, turn right to go up Rue de la Place. At the intersection, turn left onto the Grande Rue, then a few dozen meters further on, turn right into Rue du Clos Romain. Then take the second left into the Rue de la Grande Ruelle.
(1) After passing under the power lines, continue straight on the Chemin de Nailly to Saint-Martin-du-Tertre, following the wood on your right. Take the second path on the left in the direction of the Ferme des Glaciers and walk past the farm.
(2) Next, cross the tarmac road and continue across the road. Continue on the path that turns to the right and follow the edge of the wood for about 500m.
(3) At the intersection, take the path on the right and go a few hundred meters further into the Bois des Brûlis. When you go into the wood, take the first path on the left. Continue until the next intersection.
(4) Turn left again. Leave the woods and continue for several hundred metres.
(5) At the next crossroads, when the hamlet of Caves is visible below, take the path on the right that goes down, then immediately turn left before the hamlet of Caves. At the next crossroads in the woods, continue straight ahead and walk past the model aircraft site on the left.
(6) Continue straight ahead on this path, until you get back to the village via the Rue des Hauts Glaciers.
(7) At the bottom of this road, turn right on the Rue Chaude. Next turn left onto Rue des Caves, then left again on Rue de la Place which will take you back to the Mairie (S/E).
