Car park on Rue de l’Église opposite the community hall.
(S/E) From the car park, follow Rue de l’Église, heading in the opposite direction to the car park. Turn left onto Rue des Sablons, which runs alongside the cemetery, then follow the path to the right until you reach the first fork.
(1) Turn left onto the path that climbs. When you reach the edge of the woods, follow the path to the left until the next junction.
(2) Turn left to head back down towards the village via the path and then Rue des Chamognots. Follow Rue Haute to the right and pass Rue de Paris.
(3) Take the path leading down to the left between the houses (at no. 10). Cross the Grande Rue at the pedestrian crossing, go down to Rue de l’Ancienne Gare and follow it to the right. You are now on the former route of the Sens-Égreville railway line {1901/1956}. At the junction with Rue du Gué, turn sharply left.
(4) Turn right onto the path running alongside the castle park’s boundary wall and continue straight on.
Ignore the first path on the right and head into the Vallée de la Voie aux Vaches, first across open fields and then through woodland.
(5) At the junction at the end of this path (on a flat stretch), take the path on the left that leads downhill. When you reach the next junction, turn right then left to cross the bridge over the motorway. At the end of the bridge, turn left onto the path running alongside the motorway, then follow it as it veers to the right.
Follow this track, which becomes rutted with deep tracks, and take the path on the left that runs parallel to it. At the edge of the woods, ignore the track on the right leading to Les Caves and continue for about a hundred metres.
(6) Take the path on the left that runs alongside the woods. At the bottom of this path, turn left then right at the edge of the woods onto the path that climbs up to the Glacier farm.
(7) Cross the road (Rue des Glaciers) and continue along the meadow to the woods. Turn left at the edge of the woods towards the pylon and follow the stony path to the motorway bridge, which you cross to reach a junction.
(8) Go straight on along the edge of the woods, then turn right to cross them and continue to Rue de Bois-le-Roi.
(9) Turn left and return to the junction you passed earlier.
(4) Leave the street and turn right onto Chemin de Bois-le-Roi, which runs alongside the Ruisseau de Salles and leads onto Rue du Château.
(10) Turn left, cross the stream, then at the junction, continue straight ahead and uphill along Rue du Château to reach Grande Rue. Turn right, cross further on at the pedestrian crossing and first turn left then right to return to Rue de l’Église and the car park (S/E).
