(S/E) Leaving the car park >> head north towards the sea, walking past the shops, cafe, and bars, to pick up the coastal path up the cliff path and continue along the path. Like all coastal path walks, keep away from the edge. Handrail the path to the end, where the path leads down the hillside to Porth Chapel.
(1) Wheal Charlotte, the remains of an old mine working 'engine house'. Standing at the top of the rocky, vantage point, looking up the coast, to see more old mine workings, and the headland - Wheal Coates, and St Agnes Head. During low spring tides, near to the cliff, the remains, the boiler, of a shipwreck can be seen. Picking up the path, heading southeast, it follows the top of the valley, then veers south, then southeast to the field hedges to the lane.
(2) Handrail the lane, Towan Road, heading initially west, it will descend past premises, meeting up with Lower Eastcliff.
(3) Head left, and east, meeting Goyne's Field, a lane, turn right, now heading southwest, continuing to walk downhill, meeting Sandy Road, turning right to the start (S/E).
