(S) Here there are two paths running alongside the river; take the lower path, which gradually moves away from the bed of the ever-present Marsyanghi. Join up with the upper path.
(1) Climb to reach an altitude of 3,900 metres shortly after the village of Ghyaru.
(2) Set off on a long, almost flat stretch leading to Ngawal, the junction with the “road to Phugaon” which heads north.
(3) Continue due west to reach the Marsyanghi River, between the villages of Mungli and Bhraga.
(4) Walk past Hongda Airport, before finishing gently on the wide plain leading up to Manang (E).
