From Peyrus, head towards Léoncel, pass the hairpin bends and the intersection towards La Vacherie, which you leave behind as you continue climbing on the left. About 300 m further on, turn left onto the road leading to the hamlet of Barraquands. Continue on the main road, keeping to the right at thefirst intersection. At the second intersection, park on the side of the road, making sure to leave room for other vehicles.
(S/E) Head north on the Route des Combes Chaudes for about 400 metres. At the bend, leave the road and take the path opposite. A little further on, keep to your left.
(1) At the old Detet farm, turn right and continue along the path leading to the meadows. Continue along the path until the climb begins in earnest; you will see the Pas de Saint-Vincent on your left.
(2) Keep to the right and you will come out onto the plateau where you can enjoy afirst view of the Valence plain and the village of Barbières on your left. Continue along the ridges until you reach the cross: be careful, as you are walking along the edge of a cliff. Head for the Léoncel viewpoint.
(3) You will have a view of the Valence plain and can even see the Ardèche mountains and, further down, the Cruas power station. Continuing a little past the cross, you will have a magnificent view of the village of Léoncel and the Chovet mountain.
Turn back and, just as you leave the small woods, turn left onto a poorly defined path that descends southwards through woods and box trees and leads to a clearing just opposite the village of Léoncel below.
(4) Continue on your right and walk a little further along the cattle parks. The stony path leads to a wider path that gives access to the parks.
(5) Pass the electric fences and continue downhill to the left. Continue along this path to the hamlet of Serre du Sec, where you will find yourself back on tarmac.
(6) Take the road on your left and follow it for about 300 metres. After a bend, you will find a path on your right markedGR®93(red and white markings).
Follow this pretty marked path through the woods to the car park (S/E).

However, there is a new sign after point 5: the path to take is now marked as no entry (in green on the photo of the map I'm posting). The man who owns this land is not very friendly, as he insulted me once when I found myself at his farm after getting lost, even though I apologised profusely.
