Access: take the Font-Romeu cross-country ski trail, pass the Airelles car park and continue towards the Calme area. Park in the car park on the left of the road before you reach the Calme.
(S/E) From the car park, take the wide path across the field (west) to join the track coming from La Calme.
(1) At the intersection, turn left and cross the cattle grid. Follow the trail for a while as it descends slightly, passing through a wooded area and then more pastures where you may encounter a few herds of cows.
(2) The path splits in two. Take the right-hand track towards the Refuge de la Calme. The track climbs steeply before entering the forest.
(3) When you reach a new intersection from which you can see Pic Dels Moros, take the left track that descends slightly. The return loop will take you back along the right-hand path. At the bottom, the track climbs back up in hairpin bends, crossing another area of pastureland where you may encounter a few herds of cows.
(4) At the crossroads (elevation 2,094 m), turn left and follow several switchbacks to reach the summit of Pic dels Moros.
(5) Enjoy the magnificent 360° view, then descend to the previous crossroads.
(4) Take the path on the left through the fields. Follow this path straight ahead.
(6) At the end, turn right and follow the meadow. The path climbs, then crosses a forest and arrives at the Refuge de la Calme.
(7) At the refuge, take the path on the right.
(3) Continue straight ahead and retrace your steps to return to the car park (S/E).
