Departure from Saint-Cava beach in Lilia, which has two car parks, a small one right next to the beach and a larger one 100 metres further back. A sandy beach in a beautiful cove, with views of the nearby islands, including Île Wrac'h.
(S/E) On Saint-Cava Beach, facing the sea, you will see Île Wrac'h opposite you, with its small lighthouse. Take the coastal path on your right. This is theGR® 34 (Le Pays des Abers), which is well signposted.
(1) When you reach the end of Saint-Cava beach, leave the marked path and walk across (at low tide only!) to Île Wrac'h, which you can see in front of you. Once on the island, climb up and take the path on your left towards the lighthouse.
(2) Once you reach the lighthouse and after visiting the house and/or gardens, turn back and head to the northern tip of the island, which is clearly visible despite its relative height of 16 metres and marked by a few overhanging rocks.
(3) After enjoying the view of the neighbouring islands and the two lighthouses on Île Vierge, turn around and head back down to the sand to cross on dry land.
(1) Heading left, rejoin the coastal path (GR® 34) where you left it and follow it until you reach Kervenni Beach, in a more urbanised area.
(4) Continue along the coast, passing the shops or walking on the beach at low tide. You will arrive at Kastell Ac'h, with a beautiful view of the islands and the nearby Île Vierge lighthouse.
(5) Turn back and return along the coast, still on theGR® 34, to the Saint-Cava beach car park (S/E).
