Circular loop to the Croix de Mission in Cornimont

(S/E) Take the path that climbs through the woods between houses nos. 22 and 24. Continue straight on at the crossroads of the paths until you reach a cross-path.

(1) Take the path to the left, up to the Mission Cross: a beautiful view over Cornimont, its church, the town hall square… and the gigantic statue of Our Lady of Peace which overlooks the village from the opposite hillside.

(2) Follow the path as it climbs slightly to the right until you reach a Fork in the road.

(3) Take the path to the left. You are now on a path adorned with a few works of art: a totem pole and numerous ceramic decorations placed directly on the ground on either side of the path. A few wooden walkways make the walk easier. This is followed by a very pretty grassy area.

(4) At the crossroads of the paths, take the path on the left. It descends, more or less in a zigzag, through an area of low vegetation, runs alongside a meadow and leads to the end of the Chemin de l’Envers du Village. Take the path on the left and, immediately afterwards, the one on the right after the last house. The path leads to Rue de la Distillerie.

(5) Turn left again and you will soon reach the starting point (S/E).
