Start from the car park of the school in Lainville-en-Vexin, located along the D205 which crosses the village, on the left-hand side when arriving from Oinville-sur-Montcient.

(S/E) Head south and follow the D205 slightly downhill. Take thefirst right towards the cemetery and immediately right onto Chemin de la Côte Duché, which also descends. Go around the wash house on the left to get a better look at it (leaving the path momentarily). Go back up, alternating between wooded passages and paths along gardens, fields or meadows.
(1) At the crossroads, continue straight ahead and enter a wood. At the next intersection, turn left at an acute angle and follow a small path through the undergrowth. You will come out onto a wide path. Follow it to the right and walk along a fence on your left. At the end, turn right, leave the Place des Bonnes Joies on your left, and continue along the street of the same name.
(2) Just before the sign indicating the exit of the hamlet, turn left onto Chemin de Maigremont. Follow a horse quarry on your left and continue along the wide path through the woods, ignoring the paths branching off to the sides. At a crossroads, continue straight ahead between two hedges. You will rejoin the tarmac road at Maigremont. Ignore the first path on the right and pass an old metal cistern on the right-hand side.
(3) At the foot of a large building on the left and just before an electricity pole with a yellow cross, leave the road and turn right onto a path bordered by a hedge on the right. Enjoy the pleasant descent along this good grassy path.

(4) At the crossroads at the edge of the houses in Montalet-le-Bois, turn left onto a grassy path lined with a hedge on the left. Walk north-northwest with the bell tower of the church in Lainville in sight. Go downhill and come out onto a small road just before the D205: follow the small road on the left and stay parallel to the D205.
(5) At the intersection, turn right onto Chemin des Noyers (tarmac). At the stop sign, follow the D205 to the left and you will soon see a cross on the embankment on the right. After the sign for the village, turn right onto Chemin des Menues Terres and follow a football stadium on your right.
(6) At the entrance to the sports club, turn left onto the discreet Sente de la Vallée (a grassy path uphill). Cross a lane on the left and continue between two walls, following the path, which is now cemented. At the end, turn left and ignore a street on the right.
(7) At the corner of the church, climb the steep steps and go through the gate that leads to the small adjoining cemetery. Pass in front of the church and descend on the other side via a sloping path. Go through a gate and follow the street straight ahead between the school on your left and the wall of a property on your right. At the end (war memorial on the left), cross the D205 and return to the car park (S/E).
