On the road between Saint-Tropez and Ramatuelle on the beach side (D93), follow signs for Bonne Terrasse and continue to the end of the road, at the entrance to the village of Bonne Terrasse (private estate).
About 200 m before the entrance to the estate, opposite the tennis courts, park in one of the two staggered car parks on the right-hand side of the road.
(S/E) Retrace your steps northwards, and on your right you’ll find the entrance to a path which leads through the vegetation down to the sea. Alternatively, you can continue further along the road and access the beach directly, near a restaurant.
Take the path on the right that comes from Pampelonne beach and leads to the village of Bonne Terrasse via the rocks. After passing the headland of Bonne Terrasse, you’ll reach the beach at the foot of a former fishing village, now converted into secure residential accommodation. Continue along the beach to reach the rocky coastline.
(1) Pass the forest track on your right, called Chemin de Camarat à Bonne Terrasse (return route), and continue straight ahead along the coastal path, which is clearly marked amongst the rocks. Follow this wild coastline until you find the path on your right that climbs up towards the lighthouse.
(2) Pass the path leading up to the lighthouse on your right, and continue down towards the headland.
(3) Pass the path on your right that continues towards L’Escalet, and carry on downhill straight towards the headland.
Near the headland, marked by an islet (the Rocher des Portes), you’ll reach a beautiful rocky outcrop where you can admire the rock, which is anatexis granite. Then head back up to the junction you passed earlier.
(3) Follow the same route back as on the way there until you reach the next fork.
(2) Leave the route you have already taken and follow the path uphill towards the lighthouse.
(4) The path leads out onto the car park at the entrance to the lighthouse grounds. Turn right onto the road that slopes gently downwards towards the west.
Pass the first track on your right, go past a water tank on your left and continue along the road until you reach a second track blocked by a wooden barrier, where there is a no-entry sign (red circle on a white background).
(5) Take this track, which slopes gently downwards towards the north, before turning right towards the coast.
(1) Join the coastal path and turn left towards the beach. Walk along the beach until you come to a public pedestrian access point.
(6) Just before the restaurant “Chez Camille”, turn left into the alleyway that climbs westwards, first between two walls, then between two hedges of shrubs or bamboo. This alleyway leads to the roundabout in front of the entrance to the private estate; take the road to return to the car park (S/E).
