Start: Junction of Mount George Road and the B3289 Penelewey, TR3 6QX.
(S/E) From the road junction, head north 100m (when safe to do so, cross the road) on the opposite side of the road, follow the lane to your left heading west 500m down the lane to Come-to Good thatched meeting house.
(1) Stop to see the old 18th Century Come-to-Good Thatched meeting house, then turn right onto the footpath next to the meeting house heading north up through fields and trees. Continue 1200m to a stile where the track meets the B3289 road.
(2) Take care with crossing the road, turning right, then left after 20m, and continue down through the tree-lined Halvarras Road with houses on either side. See row of white cottages. Continue north into Penhalls Way for 800m, then turn right into Carlyon Road. Follow the lane east for a further 1500m to the hamlet of Carlyon.
(3) At Carlyon Road junction, turn right (southeast), past the Hamlet of Portkea. Continue on the road to the next junction, gaining height. Turn right to the Hamlet of Higher Lanner.
(4) At Higher Lanner, pick up the designated path turning right (west), through the fields to the farmstead of Trelogoss after 800m. At Trelogoss, keep on the track heading south for 800m to the junction. Turn right uphill (west) into Mount George Road for 500m to the junction of Mount George Road and B3289 (S/E).
