(S/E) Starting at the Lemon Inn >>>, this first section is along country lanes, heading south, and left southeast down Trevallan Road, at the small car park, head left and north up the hill, the access road leads into a path across farm fields, which continues to rise. handrail the hedge to where the track turns to a road.
(1) At the junction, the route follows a north-easterly direction down the lane past Restronguet Barton. To the left, see: Whim Cottage, looking around, see open barn/building, inside is the remains of an old Whim, a blackboard explains its historic use. Continue down the hill to the estuary.
(2) Weir Point, turn left. This short section of road can become flooded during spring tides. Heading in a northerly direction following the access lane.
(3) Restronguet Passage, an old quay with many historic artifacts to find (A) continue along the access lane, turning to a track, which will lead away from the water's edge, and climb the hill to Halwyn, a small remote hamlet.
(4) The track now turns back to a southerly direction, leading through farm gates and becomes a farm track, up the hill, and follows all the way to the road.
(5) At the road turn left, handrail the road all the way to the village and (E).
