(S) Take the road that climbs slightly along the church, heading east. At the corner of the cemetery, take the road on the left. Take the first road on the right, pass the cemetery and reach a crossroads.
(1) Take the path opposite, heading east. Follow the fields, cross the first crossroads and enter the woods. At the second crossroads, at the edge of the woods, turn right at a right angle to join a small road. Follow this road on the left. Cross a small road. At the fork (wash house on the left), take the right-hand road and you will immediately reach Les Roches Tranchelion.
(2) At the entrance to the hamlet, take a path on the left alongside a house. The path turns right and climbs slightly. Shortly before leaving the hamlet, take a grassy path on the left that leads to the ruins of the old collegiate church.
(3) Take the time to visit the ruins, then retrace your steps. Take the path on the left (north-east). Notice some old cave dwellings on the left. The path continues to climb gradually, curves to the left (north) and enters the forest.
(4) Turn right, make a zigzag right-left and continue north-east along a pleasant forest path.
(5) At a crossroads, at an elevation of 111 metres, turn left at a right angle and head north. The path becomes a wide forest lane, which crosses several other paths. After about 500 metres, the lane is located at the edge of the forest (on your right) and fields (on your left).
(6) When the lane curves to the left, turn left at an acute angle onto a path between cultivated fields and fallow land (south-west direction). Enter the woods again and continue until you reach a small road. Take this road (west) and cross the hamlet of Les Sévaudières (take time to admire the view).
(7) At the exit of the hamlet, pass a pond and cross a stream. Stay on the road (be careful) that climbs up to the plateau. Pass Les Hautes Sévaudières (houses) and continue east. You will reach a plot of land with rows of solar panels.
(8) Stay on the road and follow the fenced plot on your left. After about 250m, turn left (south) onto a wide path between two fenced plots lined with solar panels. After passing the fences, enter the undergrowth and then return to cultivated fields. Join another path, turn right to reach a crossroads.
(9) Take the small road on the right that descends alongside vineyards. Pass a small sign indicating 10 km from the starting point. Cross the hamlet of La Touche Hulin and arrive at the hamlet of Puy Chauveau.
