Depart from the Arpettaz car park at the end of the road after Les Confins.
(S/E) From the car park, follow the track that continues on from the road. Ignore the paths on the right that lead to the farms and continue along the mountainside.
(1) At Chalet de Paccaly, continue along the track and enter the woods. It is best to follow the wide path at the top, alternating with the track. Reach the Pierre Marquée.
(2) Continue along the track that turns right. On a steeper climb, pass two hairpin bends, leave a turn-off on the right, exit the woods and reach the Refuge de la Bombardellaz.
(3) Follow the small track horizontally to the left of the refuge. After going around the shoulder, you will arrive at the oratory and the Chalets de la Bombardellaz.
(4) After enjoying the site, continue along the path descending to the left of the foot of the oratory. After about 200m, the path veers left to continue almost horizontally and reach the Pierre Marquée.
(2) Take the route you took on the way up to the right and return to the Arpettaz car park (S/E).
