Departure from Omonville-la-Rogue, at Port Coquignolet du Hâble, next to the sailing school.
(S/E) The trail starts by following a small stream, the Vallace. Turn right onto the D45 for 50m and then left onto the small marked trail. At the church square, turn left to rejoin the D45 towards Gréville. Cross Omonville and, as you pass through, enjoy the beauty of the houses and the typical character of this village at the tip of the Cotentin Peninsula.
(1) 400m after leaving Omonville, take the small path on the right and 50m after the path on the left at the fork, take Chemin des Moulins for 1km. This wooded section of the trail follows the Vallace stream (former mills).
(2) At Le Pré de Bas, turn left, cross the stream over a small bridge and climb the steep slope. Cross the D45 at Croix du Tourp (picnic area) and turn right towards Ferme du Tourps.
(3) Cross the Epine stream to reach Maison d'Eculleville. Continue straight on towards Eculleville.
(4) Go through the village and, at the exit, take the left-hand path at the church.
(5) Pass Moulin de la Sabine.
(6) At the end of the road, turn right.
(7) Turn left towards Hameau aux Ducs. Continue straight ahead towards Hameau Gruchy.
(8) Turn left towards Millet's birthplace.
(9) Go down the steep path towards theGR®223(be careful, the descent is steep and can be slippery).
(10) Take theGR®223westwards, which overlooks a rocky coastline below (some areas may be slippery). Continue on theGR®223.
(11) Pass the Mur Blanc, the Baie de Quervière, the ruins of the Cotentine farm, the Pointe d'Etimbert and come out at the fort above the Port du Hâble.
(12) Turn right and descend towards the entrance to the fort (private property). At the bottom, continue on the left along the shore and finally arrive at Port du Hâble (S/E).
