After leaving your vehicle in the car park provided on the right of the road leading to Port de Goury, take the D901 down to the Tourist Office.
(S) Head south on Rue du Perret, which turns left towards the east and climbs up towards the few houses in La Valette.
(1) At the end of Rue du Perret, you will come to the D401, which you take by turning left at the hairpin bend; you are now on Route de la Roche, which will take you to the centre of Auderville.
(2) Turn left onto Rue de l'Eglise, then after 40 metres, turn right onto Rue du Grand Doué or D45. Without changing roads, leave Auderville and enter the commune of Saint-Germain-des-Vaux via Rue du Haut. Pass a wash house and continue along the D45. Rue de Haut becomes Rue de la Cavée. Pass another wash house on your right. Continue along this road and leave the D45 by turning right before the church.
(3) After 50 metres, turn left at the fork towards the south-east. The road descends towards the pumping station. As you pass, you will see the Church of Notre-Dame on your left.
(4) At the pumping station, turn right onto the Jobourg road. After 80 metres, turn left towards the Jardin Jacques Prévert.
(5) Follow the path that runs along the bottom of Val des Moulins, alongside the Jardin Jacques Prévert. After the garden entrance, continue right on the path that leads to a few houses.
(6) You will rejoin the road that leads to the D45, which runs along the coast.
(7) Facing the sea, turn left onto the D45 or Route de Port Racine. The road climbs a little, passes the Hôtel l'Ergillère on the right and, shortly after, go down a few steps on the right to reach the coastal path that joins theGR®223andGR® de Pays Tour de la Hague. From this point, stay on the coastal path until you reach Goury.
(8) Pass Fort Saint-Martin, where you can see a chapel on private property on the right. Continue along the path to enter the protected natural site of La Hague. Cross the D202, then the Route de Bombec. You will have to climb over several low walls. Fortunately, small steps have been built to make this easier.
(9) About 1,200 metres after the Bombec road, cross the D402 and a little further on, a road leading to the Bergerie des Etennevaux.
(10) After about 700m, pass the Hague semaphore and then a blockhouse. Follow a pebble dyke for about 600m and you will arrive at the lighthouse on your right.
(11) Finish the walk by passing near the Croix du Vendémiaire and return to the starting point at the Tourist Office or go straight back to your cars.
