A75, exit 17, towards Auzat-la-Combelle; at Auzat, take the D214 (left) towards Lamontgie. Place du Foirail in Lamontgie.

(S/E) From Place du Foirail, turn right onto Rue des Rougeat (D123), towards Saint-Martin-des-Plains, and continue along this road. Pass the Chemin de la Limagne on your left and, at the next Fork in the road, take the path on the left. Ignore the path running perpendicular to it, go under the power line and join a road.
(1) At the road, turn right towards the hamlet of Mailhat. At the crossroads, keep left and walk straight through the hamlet of Mailhat.
(2) On leaving the hamlet and before the cemetery, take the path on the left. Ignore the next path branching off to the left and continue straight on, heading west. At the crossroads, turn left for 100m then follow the path branching off to the right towards the west. Then take the first path on the left which leads down to the village of Orsonnette.
(3) On entering Orsonnette, continue along Rue de la Fontaine, join the D123 and turn right into Rue Main Forte.
(4) Turn into the first street on the left. Head towards Place Saint-Laurent, go all the way round to the right of Sainte-Madeleine Church and return to Rue Péchaud on the right. Continue to Chemin de la Buge.
(5) At the junction, turn left onto Chemin de la Buge heading east and pass the cemetery. At the crossroads, turn left for 50m then right heading south-east until you reach another crossroads.
(6) At the crossroads, stay on the main path heading south-east, ignoring the small paths to the right and left. Follow the stream (the Gouffre du Rat). At the Fork in the road, take the path on the left which runs alongside the stream and gradually climbs north-east.
(7) At the crossroads, turn left towards the cross and continue to the cross. At the cross, take the path furthest to the right heading south-east.
(8) At the Croix des Plantiers, take the path on the left, then turn right onto the perpendicular path, pass under the power line and head towards the village of Lamontgie.
At the junction with the D214B road, turn left onto Rue de la Combe, pass Place du Réveillon and continue to the car park at Place du Foirail (S/E).
