Starting point:
From Issoire (A75 Exit 13), take the D999 towards Vernet-la-Varenne. At Sarpoil, turn right onto the D214 towards Auzat-la-Combelle, then, at Féroussat, turn left onto the D24 towards Champagnat at a place called Le Coupe-Gorge; parking is available near the yellow post box (on the left).

(S/E) From the car park, cross the road and take the street opposite between the houses.
(1) At the entrance to the hamlet of Solignat, continue straight ahead (do not take the return path on the right). Continue to La Chapelle-sur-Usson (chapel).
(2) On leaving the village, take a path on the right which goes downhill, crosses a stream and climbs back up towards the hamlet of Perrier. At the wash house at the entrance to Perrier, head straight ahead and cross the hamlet.
(3) On leaving the hamlet, take the road on the right, pass to the right of the sewage treatment plant, then follow the path on the left which leads downhill. Cross the Ruisseau des Mines and head back up to the hamlet of Guéry.
(4) At the entrance to the hamlet of Guéry, turn right onto the D703 towards the hamlet of La Barre.
(5) After 800m, turn left onto a path that climbs and take the tarmac road. Cross the D703 and continue along the path opposite, which leads to the hamlet of Les Martres.
(6) At Les Martres, cross the hamlet and, at the D75, turn right onto the path leading back towards Solignat.
(1) At the entrance to Solignat, turn left and head for the car park (S/E).
