To get to the starting point: either from Saint-Georges-d'Orques or Pignan, take the D5E5 and head for the Abbaye de Vignogoul.

This route takes you along numerous trails and paths, so using GPS or a mobile app will make it easier to find your way.
(S/E) From the Abbey car park, turn right onto the path known as "du Carreau". At the crossroads, continue straight ahead, go around hill 100, "Le Grès", and walk along the properties and land.
(1) Below hill 104, at the edge of the land, at the cairn, turn right into the undergrowth (the climb is hidden by the copses) and then left at hill 111, heading north-west to the left. Keep to the left, walking alongside the water treatment plant on your right. At the three-way junction, take the D27E road on the right, walk alongside the edge of the bridge for 50 metres.
(2) Turn left onto the start of the path for about 10 m, take the track on the left (which may be hidden by grass) between the field and the hedge, then cross a low wall. Turn right, go around the field (vineyards) on your left. Take a path to a junction with two directions. Turn right, after a left-hand bend, and reach the two-way crossroads. Turn left heading west, follow the stony path and cross "Les Tières". Ignore all the exits on the left and right
(3). At the crossroads, go straight ahead (Domaine de la Gachelle), keep to the left and turn right at the next road. Ignore the exits on the right and cross the resurgence stream.
(4) Turn left onto the uphill path, ignore the exit on the left and turn left at "Pioch Serié".
(5) Cross a road and continue along the path heading west. Ignore all exits, cross the summit "la Rouquette" and continue heading south-west
(6) At the crossroads at elevation 184, bear right and keep to the right. Pass under the high-voltage power line, turn left at the last crossroads, cross the hill and join the road.
(7) Cross the D27 road, take the path opposite heading south, keep to the right, cross the undergrowth and walk along the right-hand side of the hamlet of "Pioch Guillen" heading south, turn left onto the path, rejoin the D27 road, turn right heading east.
(8) At the fork, leave the road and turn right heading south onto the path at the edge of the property. At the end of the path, turn right and continue downhill for 70 metres. At the two-way junction, at the cairn (on the right), turn left onto the path uphill (steep), in the undergrowth, heading west.
Continue through the woods (past the two high-voltage pylons) to reach a crossroads. Cross the path heading south-east. At the start of a path (sign and stone pillar on the right-hand side), continue through the woods. At a fork in the path, turn left onto the path, which descends steeply, at the cairn. Pass under the power lines. You will reach a crossroads.
(9) Continue straight ahead heading east (this path is not shown on the map), keeping to the right. Walk alongside a stream. Avoid all exits.
(10) At the 140-metre mark "la Dourque", keep left then turn left onto the road called Rue Louis-Antoine de Bougainville. Cross the crossroads and the roundabout, heading north-east. Take thesecond exit onto Rue Lapérouse, ignore the left and right turns and continue right onto Rue de l'Ancien Four. Avoid the left and right turns and cross onto Rue de La Vierge.
(11) At Place de La Vierge, turn right onto Rue de la Triane, then left onto Rue de l'Église, then left again onto Rue des Porches. At Place de la Vierge, turn right downhill and turn left at the stone column onto Rue de l'Ancienne Mairie. Cross the crossroads, continue straight ahead onto Route de Bel Air and ignore the four exits.
(12) Turn left onto Rue Suzanne Ivanes-Chupin, after about 40 metres turn right onto the tree-lined path to reach the archaeological site, the Oppidum Saint-Julia.
(13) Facing Castellas, heading north-east, turn right, ignore the left exit and take the second right. At the crossroads, cross the D102, avoid the two exits and keep right on Avenue du Champ des Moulins. Continue along this road, keep left, leave the street and take the path to the D27E road and cross it.
(14) At Croix de Cade, heading south-east, take the path and turn left. Keep to the right, go around hill 116 on your right and ignore the two exits on the right. Walk along "Prose" and hill 104 to return to the path you took on the way there.
(1) Turn right and follow the route in reverse to reach (S/E).
