Park on the Esplanade des Droits de l'Homme.
Note: the entire route is regularly marked in blue with a telegraph symbol.
(S/E) Walk along the public garden and turn left (north-west), following the blue telegraph-shaped markers. Pass close to the stadium and continue gently uphill to the D27 road.
(1) Cross the D27 road, follow it for 50 metres to the right, then turn left and climb up to the old telegraph station on a wide track. At the top, enjoy the magnificent view of the Montpellier area.
(2) Begin the descent on the right, following the natural route. After a few zigzags, you will reach the D102 road, known as the Peyssine.
(3) Follow it for about 200 metres before turning left to join the old Roman road between the vineyards.
(4) Take this road to gently climb back up towards the village. At the roundabout, go straight ahead and join Rue de l'Ancien Four.
(5) Turn right towards the village centre. Continue along Rue de la Vierge, pass the church on your right, then turn left into Rue de l'Ancienne Mairie. More direct option: see practical information.
(6) Turn left onto Route de Montpellier, then veer right to return to the starting point on Esplanade (A/D).
