Parking along the Eppeldorf road, in front of the riding centre in Beaufort.
(S/E) The entrance to the riding centre car park is on your left; head towards Klaisgen Chapel.

(1) After the chapel, take thefirst path on the right. Ignore the path leading down to your right and the next two on your left (thefirst one isn’t on the map). Stay on the wide forest track and head downhill. Walk past the campsite.
(2) Take the sharp right-hand bend, head downhill and stay on the wide forest track until you reach the bottom, where you rejoin Route 3 of the Mullerthal Trail.
(3) Turn right. Walk past the Klingelbour wash house. Head up to the reservoir and walk alongside it. Ignore the path branching off to the right. Further on, ignore the path on your right, turn left and cross the stream. Head up the path.
(4) At the fork (not shown on the map), turn right. Walk uphill to a forest track.
(5) Turn right and, at the next forest track, turn right again. Cross the road and, at the junction just after, turn right. Follow the road for a few metres and turn left at thefirst track. Cross the cultivated fields to the road. Cross it carefully and continue straight ahead. At the next road, cross and turn right (path on the verge).
(6) Take the path leading down to the left and continue to the bottom.
(7) At the forest track you reach at the bottom, turn right. Ignore the paths on your right and leave the forest.
(8) Turn left. Head down towards the village centre. The track becomes a road. Continue to the right towards the church and go up to the right of it. At the fork, turn right. A first road joins from your right; carry on straight ahead.
(9) At the bend, go straight on and follow the main forest track for about 2 km.
(10) At the path on your right, turn and head uphill. Take the steps on your right; at the bench, turn left and walk to the signpost. Turn left and, at the junction, continue left for over 300m.
(11) Take thesecond path on the left. Join another path. At the mast, turn right. The path winds between rocks. Join another path and continue to the right. Stay on the main forest track; this passes close to an information board, but unfortunately it is not in French. The track continues between tall rocks and, near two other signs, you will find the entrance to the old quarry on your right. Then continue down the track to a multi-way junction.
(12) Take the highest path on the left. At thefirst path on the right, head up towards the Herkuleskapp rocks. Walk alongside them for 1.3 km. Climb back up to the forest track and turn right.
(13) At the junction, turn left. Walk along the back of the houses. At the road, cross over and continue straight ahead.
(1) At the next road, turn right and head for the car park (S/E).
