Parking at Beaufort Castle.
(S/E) Head towards the castle entrance. At the sign, push the gate to enter the lawn and take the path to the castle on your left. Ignore the path on your right leading to the Auberge Rustique and continue. Climb onto the pontoon, which will take you across the wet part of the field to a fence.

(1) Continue straight ahead and pass Klingelbour. Continue to the reservoir.

(2) Turn right and go up the road. Leave the path on your left.

Further up, take the path on your right, cross the stream (which is probably dry) and continue straight ahead on the left. Go up the stairs and continue to the road. Walk a few metres to the left to see the Klaisgen Chapel and then retrace your steps.

Cross over to continue along the path behind the houses. Then cross another road and continue straight ahead. Turn right at the first path. Enter the forest and take the left fork. After a long walk through the woods, over roots, rocks and scattered steps, alongside superb rock formations, the path descends to a forest track which you cross. Continue along it on the right and, at the fork, turn immediately left until you reach the road.
(3) Cross and continue on the path opposite, climbing the steps.
(4) A path joins from your right; continue straight ahead to the viewpoint overlooking Vve sur l'Allemagne. Continue along the path.
(5) At the crossroads, continue to the right. A path joins you on the right, continue to the left and pass in front of the picnic area. After a long straight stretch, you will reach a fork.
(6) Continue along the path on the left. Go down a few steps. At the end of the path on the left, you will find the second viewpoint. View of Bollendorf. Continue along the path, which turns left.
(7) A path joins yours and, at the bend, turn right. Climb a few steps and continue between two rock formations.
(8) When you reach the forest path, with a view of the countryside and Beaufort in the distance, turn left and follow a long straight path to the crossroads.
(9) Make a return trip to your left to the Kipligay viewpoint. View of the Berdorf Aquatower. Back at the crossroads, continue along the path which quickly turns right. At the fork, turn left and go down the steps to the car park. Cross carefully, go down the steps, cross the bridge and continue downhill. At the fork on the right, go back up and pass between two rocks. At the next junction, cross the forest path and continue straight ahead.
(10) A few steps further down, turn right and follow the Hallerbaach stream.
From here, the map is not accurate in relation to the terrain.
With the river on your left, follow it upstream. Return to the forest path. At the fork, turn left, cross the bridge over the river and continue along the river, now on your right. Further on, cross another bridge and return to the other bank. Climb the steps and return to the forest path.
Return to the correct route.
At the fork, continue left. At the next intersection, ignore the bridge and continue right.
(11) At the picnic area, continue to the right and follow the path that now runs alongside the Haupeschbaach. Ford a stream that flows into the river. Cross one bridge and then two more in quick succession. At the crossroads, ignore the bridge below and continue to your left until you reach the castle and the car park (S/E).
